1. Scope and contact
This policy explains how GOKHAS handles information in connection with GlassiOS, GlassiOS Dark, GlassiOS Liq and GlassiOS Tinted, and related support requests. “We” and “us” refer to GOKHAS, the publisher of these four Android icon pack apps. The same policy applies to all four apps; their artwork, appearance and available color options differ.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@gokhas.site. You do not need a GOKHAS account to use the apps.
2. Information used on your device
The apps store your appearance choice (system, light or dark), language, reduced-transparency preference and onboarding completion in local app storage. An older version may also have stored a selected tint color; GlassiOS Tinted now follows system colors instead. They also store the time of the last successful request to Google Play for a review prompt, to avoid asking too often. These settings are used to provide the interface and remember your choices. GOKHAS does not receive them.
Icon search text and category filters are processed on your device to search the bundled catalog. They are held in memory while the app process is running; the apps do not create or upload a search history.
To show compatible launchers and help you apply an icon pack, the apps ask Android for home-screen launcher apps, their displayed names and package identifiers, and which launcher is the default. This is a limited check of launcher apps, not an inventory of all installed apps. The result is used locally and is not sent to GOKHAS. When you request an action, the app can open your launcher or Android home settings, or send the icon pack’s package identifier to a supported launcher so it can apply the pack. Your launcher’s own data practices apply to that launcher.
Icon artwork, catalog entries, fonts and the GOKHAS avatar are included in the app package. Browsing these resources does not download them from an image service or require an account.
3. Support and icon requests
The Contact and missing-icon actions open your email app. A missing-icon draft includes the GlassiOS app version and collection name, with fields for an app name, an optional Play Store link and your notes. Nothing is sent automatically. You can edit or discard the draft before sending it.
If you send us a message, we receive your email address, any sender name your email service provides, the message and any attachments you choose to include, together with normal email delivery information. If you ask about a purchase, you may also choose to provide an order reference. We use this information to answer you, investigate a reported issue, handle the request and plan icon coverage or product improvements. We do not use support messages for advertising or add you to a marketing list.
Email is handled by your email service and the service delivering mail to our support address. Their processing is necessary to send, receive and store the correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or personal information that is unnecessary for your request.
4. Google Play purchases and reviews
If you purchase an app on Google Play, Google processes the payment and associated account information. The apps do not run their own checkout or collect payment card details. Google may make purchase, refund and transaction information available to the publisher through its developer services; we use any such information for purchase support, refunds, accounting or legal obligations.
After you open a supported launcher from the app and return, the app may ask Google Play to display its optional review dialog. The Rate us action in Settings opens the current app’s Google Play listing. Google decides whether to show the review dialog. If you submit a rating or review, Google receives that information. A production review can be public; feedback in a closed test can instead be shared privately with the developer. The review API does not provide the app with your selected star rating or review text. We can read feedback that Google makes available to the publisher.
Google handles its services under its own terms and privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage or delete your Google Play reviews through your Google Play or Google Account controls. Google Play’s review data-handling information is available at https://developer.android.com/guide/playcore/in-app-review#data-safety.
5. Analytics, advertising and app protection
The apps do not include advertising, Firebase, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs operated by GOKHAS, and do not require a GOKHAS account. We do not operate an app backend that receives your searches, appearance settings or launcher list.
The apps do not integrate the custom Play Integrity API or operate a GOKHAS verification service. Releases distributed through Google Play may include Google’s automatic protection and installer checks. Google Play handles these checks to help verify authorized installation and licensing; they may require periodic connectivity. GOKHAS does not receive raw device-integrity reports through an app verification backend. If we introduce a feature that changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law before that processing begins.
These statements describe the apps’ own implementation. Google Play, Android and services you choose to open may process information independently under their own policies.
6. External links and this policy page
The apps can open the four GlassiOS product listings, GOKHAS’s developer store page and the ThemeHub listing in Google Play or your browser. Opening a link connects you to the destination service. Installing or using ThemeHub is separate from using these icon packs and is covered by that app’s own privacy information.
You can read the bundled policy inside the apps without opening a website. If you open an online copy, your browser sends information needed to deliver the page, such as your IP address and browser request information, to the website’s hosting service. The website may load third-party resources and Google Analytics separately from these offline apps. Website providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver their resources and services. Website data practices do not change the local processing described for the apps.
7. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it with advertisers. Information is handled by the services needed for the actions described above, such as Google Play, your selected launcher and email services. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to a valid legal request, protect people’s rights or investigate misuse. We limit such disclosure to what is relevant for that purpose.
External providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their policies explain their locations, protections and choices. We do not upload your locally stored app preferences or launcher information to those providers as a general analytics feed.
8. Retention and deletion
Local preferences and the review-request timestamp remain in the app’s storage until you change the relevant setting, clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. The timestamp is used for a review-request interval; it is not automatically deleted when that interval ends. Search text and launcher results are temporary in-memory data. The apps request Android to disable app-data backup. Device-to-device transfers can depend on Android and the device manufacturer’s implementation. Android’s own system settings and data held by your launcher are controlled separately.
We keep support correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, resolve the matter, follow up on the request or meet an applicable legal obligation. Purchase-related records made available to us may be kept as needed for refunds, accounting or legal requirements. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes. A fixed automatic deletion deadline is not applied to every support message.
You can request deletion of correspondence we hold by emailing contact@gokhas.site. Uninstalling an app does not delete messages already sent to us, Google Play purchase records or reviews. Data held by Google, your email service or your launcher is managed through that service’s own controls and retention rules.
9. Security and your choices
Local app data benefits from Android’s app isolation and your device’s security controls. We limit the use of support information to the purposes in this policy and take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can change appearance and language in Settings, change the phone theme colors used by GlassiOS Tinted through Android settings, clear app storage through Android settings, decline to submit a review, and choose whether to send an email or open an external link. The apps do not require access to your contacts, photos, microphone or location to provide their icon-pack features.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To exercise a right, contact contact@gokhas.site and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that the request concerns your data. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
These are general-purpose device customization apps and are not designed specifically for children. We do not ask for a child’s name, age or other personal information in the apps. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support message, contact contact@gokhas.site so we can review and address it, including deletion where appropriate.
11. Changes and questions
We may update this policy when app features or information-handling practices change. The effective date identifies the current policy. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
This policy is provided in English. For questions or privacy requests, contact GOKHAS at contact@gokhas.site.
